Christmas, a time for reverence and joy,

A time to cheer and not be coy.

A time to pray and give thanks to God,

A time for love and atonement as his rod.

A time for children to be gay,

A time for children to play.

A time for toys to be in abundance,

A time for the children to be in accordance.

A time to give back to God some wealth,

A time to give for the good of our health.

A time to have peace of mind,

A time for all of us to be kind. 

A time to love each other dearly,

A time not just to do it yearly.
